The Larry Scott Trailhead in Port Townsend

The Roads Division of Jefferson County Public Works is pleased to provide the Larry Scott Trail. By working to acquire right of way, conducting design, leveraging grants, getting permits, paying for repairs, and funding maintenance, Roads has gone the extra 'mile'.

For updates on our construction progress, please check News . It is our goal to establish a partnership with the community that we call the Larry Scott Trail. This partnership is a dynamic program that offers recreation and transportation in one of the most beautiful places in the world: Jefferson County, Washington. Please look through the information found here and get involved. Let us know what you think at anytime by contacting Matt Tyler, Jefferson County Public Works. Check out our new online photo album of our service projects in action.

The Larry Scott Trail is a part of an initiative to build a section of trail from Port Townsend to Cape Alava known as the 'Olympic Discovery Trail. Facilitated by the Peninsula Trails Coalition, this project is part of a larger initiative to build a trail across the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific Ocean known as the 'Pacific Northwest Trail'
