The Roads Division is about much more than just roads. We are about transportation, quality of life, community health, and the local economy. That is why Roads provides the Larry Scott Trail, the major non-motorized transportation corridor in our region.
Measuring the benefits of the Larry Scott Trail is a difficult task. There are so many ways to go about it. One could list the health benefits of exercise and time spent with family and friends out of doors; or the environmental benefits of an alternative transportation corridor; or the economic benefits of tourism and development.
