Everyone using the trail should be aware of the environment, courteous to other users, and vigilant about their personal safety. Just as on a road, it is possible to be injured or killed on the Larry Scott Trail.
It is critical to remember that this trail is multiple use. Expect to encounter both recreationalist and commuters on foot, on horseback, and on bicycles. People of all ages and physical capabilities are welcomed.
Poor visibility at night or during inclement weather are a major safety concern on the Larry Scott. All trail users are required to use safety lights and should consider reflective garments as well.
